WND Defends Chuck Norris and Ted Nugent From Me, In Case They Cry

Well, we're weird, we're smeared, get over it.

No, not you, Gentle Readers. It seems that my second commentary on Ted Nugent's lovely slur of an entire generation offended the delicate sensibilities of Joseph Farah over at World Nut Daily, and they felt compelled to respond:

world nut, dully

MEDIA MATTERS
Dem blogger wants to shoot Rush Limbaugh
Also calls for volunteer to assassinate Ted Nugent

A Democratic Party blogger says he wants to shoot Rush Limbaugh and is calling for volunteers to assassinate rock star Ted Nugent, who champions the Second Amendment

Hart Williams, a former writer for porn magazine Hustler and who now toils for the Democratic Daily, was waxing incoherent about a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed by Nugent, complaining that it was likely ghost-written...

Hopefully, we didn't make them cry. (Not that couth or politesse could ever be construed as WND's hallmark.)

And we made Little Green Nutballs, too!

little green nutballs

We've pulled off the BIFECTA! Or, if you prefer, the mathematically challenged's version of the Hat Trick.

Sure as hell glad they didn't notice my comment that Bush should be hung on the Washington Mall at high noon ... here and here:
‘Pragmatism’ can be a form of obfuscation, too. While one should not be principled to a fault, neither should one default on all one’s principles. Values DO matter, the GOP misuse of the term notwithstanding.

I’m very pragmatic about wanting to see Bush hung by the neck until dead — as we hung the defendants at Nuremberg, for many of the same crimes — at high noon on the Washington Mall.

Sure hope that they can handle it.

Of course, having attempted dialogue with Righties for a couple of decades now, and noting that they're not INTERESTED in dialogue or "playing nice," it doesn't really matter if it makes them cry.

They'll just have to buy hankies. (Or use their sleeves.)

Courage.

Sez you: "I will only reiterate what I’ve said before: WHEN they manage to inevitably push their litany of hatespeak into actual bloodletting, and full-blown civil war (for there is no other place that this hatred of American against American can go), well …
I’ve got dibs on Rush, as soon as it’s legal and lawful to shoot him. Whoever wants Ted Nugent is welcome to him, but I would prefer that you would call it now, so as to conserve on ammunition. We will need to manage it prudently. But when the day comes that they have finally set brother against brother, and sister against sister in the name of their pocketbooks, I won’t approach exterminating them with anything approaching remorse. They’ve already told me what they think of me, of my friends and of my peers. Now, I’m returning the favor."

Sez me: We are without doubt two nations within a single border, sharing physical proximity and not worldviews. I agree that ultimately this will come to violence between those of us who believe in the Founders' Republic and collectivists such as yourself. However, before you gleefully embrace the horror of civil war, you should look around and do a head count. Our side has the overwhelming majority of the guns, punk. And we know how to use them. Be careful what you wish for, you may get it. Put that in your hash pipe and smoke it.

You people need to get a grip on reality and face the fact that your value system seriously underminds the freedoms which you supposedly defend...Answer this...how come the only college campuses without a major shooting in the last 10 years are ones that have allowed students to carry firearms? It takes an idiot who has no clue about human nature and lives in some dope-smoking lala land to think that an unarmed citizenry is the answer to less crime and that the government should be a nanny to a people that can't wipe their own butts (which is bascially what liberals think simply because that's how they are).

It is obvious that you find yourself to be quite witty and profound in your comments, however, I find your rhetoric to be small and quite hypocritical. To embrace a civil war within these borders and the assassination of Limbaugh or Nugent, belies any sincere commitment toward the "cry for peace" so championed by you liberals. It is obvious that peace may be achieved only on your terms, which proves that you do not believe in true peace at all.

To you, and those of your ilk, two wrongs make a right, and while killing terrorists in Iraq is the height of evil, killing your own countrymen because you disagree with their point of view is quite acceptable. The duplicity is apparent to all.

God. What a bunch of self-righteous assholes you three are:

Mizaru, covering his eyes, who sees no evil; Mikazaru, covering his ears, who hears no evil; and Mazaru covering his mouth, who speaks no evil.

Have a banana and lighten up,.

OR: Go to the Free Republic page attacking this post, where your comments will fit right in and you will feel more at home. Ly.

It's ironic that you have a "Stop Hate Radio" banner on your website.

I don't know about Ted, but Chuck is the man. I have a close friend who worked on the set of Walker, Texas Ranger, and knew Chuck well. Chuck writes all his own stuff--except when noted on his one book, "with Ken Abraham." I just checked out his WND articles--I was surprised at how logical and well-written they are.... http://www.wnd.com/news/archives.asp?AUTHOR_ID=274 Zug, you might be right about Ted, but I can tell you that you're definitely wrong about Chuck. Do you have an further basis besides the generality that celebrities all have ghost-writers?

Ed, you represent the worst of political discourse today. How is it that "liberals" can't see themselves? Such a lot of hate and venom. But it's all the other guy's fault, I guess.

Guess what: Mr. Nugent and Anne Coulter have also called for brutal death for those they don't like. You all probably don't have a problem with that, though. Your WorldNet Daily wingnut news source doesn't seem to, either. That's because you right wingers are a bunch of hypocrites.

Wow. Have you been in a coma since 1986?

I can well imagine what a disorienting place the future must be to you.

Let me spare you some shocks, Mr. or Ms. Van Winkle: we DID put up the space station, we haven't been back to the moon, we DID balance the budget, but the Republicans finally got into power with their spend-and-don't-tax and big government agenda.

It didn't work out. We're BACK in another Vietnam style quagmire, but since it's in the desert, the fungal infections aren't as severe.

Have someone you love explain "9-11" to you and make sure you're sitting down when they do.

Wishing you well in your recovery.

?? Why don't YOU explain it to me, Ed? What are you getting at? Was it all an inside job?

"Wishing you well in your recovery. "

Er...ok...

You're not very good at this, are you?

Hey, it's your site, so you can control the conversation any way you like. But your response to me was apropos of nothing. Just more venom.
